Media Saver ("we", "our", or "us") does not collect, store, or share any personal information from users.

What data we collect

None. Media Saver has no servers, analytics, tracking, or advertising. No browsing history, account details, or personal information ever leaves your device to us or to any third party.

Data stored in your browser

The extension uses Chrome's built-in storage to keep a small amount of settings data in your own browser:

• Whether the extension is turned on or off
• A simple count of how many photos and videos you have saved

If you are signed in to Chrome with sync turned on, Chrome may sync these settings between your own devices. We never receive or have access to this data. You can remove it at any time by uninstalling the extension.

How the extension works

When you click a save button, the photo or video you are viewing is saved directly to your computer using Chrome's downloads feature. Everything happens locally on your device.

Permissions

• downloads – to save the media you choose to your computer.
• storage – to remember your on/off setting.
• Site access (instagram.com) – to show save buttons on media while you browse.
